&-Ampersand is an artist book celebrating the collaboration of Patty Smith and Claire Fouquet. They have been producing art work together since 2012. The book was designed, printed and bound by the artists at In Cahoots Residency, Petaluma, CA. The images come from previous works by the artists: the upper row is by Claire Fouquet, the bottom row is by Patty Smith, and the middle row is their collaborative work. The cover and accordion book spine are printed on Mohawk superfine. Heidi Kyle invented the flag book. structure.
